Located at the very heart of San Francisco’s Union Square, Villa Florence is a charming boutique hotel that offers an intimate, inviting escape from the bustling city center. sfa design was brought on board to provide a hip makeover, while maintaining some of the existing Italian-style architecture. Inspired by private homes in Florence and Tuscany, sfa’s designers sought to create a chicly hip, modern design that would honor the most elegant, alluring elements of a traditional Italian villa. Mixing modern furniture with classic architecture, sfa design was able to create a relaxing home away from home for anyone seeking a more personal escape in an expansive urban setting.
